Here we are, a week in, and Italy already seems lightyears away. We have been doing typical suburban mom/kid things most days: taking in a 10:30 am matinee, story time at the local library. And we mostly hang out at the neighborhood pool. The crowd there is moms and kids, with a couple of dads and a handful of teenagers. We blend in with the typical demographic, only they show up in minivans and SUVs, and this is our ride:
Three calls it the Hot Wheels Car.
Do I feel like a total badass in the Mustang? Hell, yeah. Even with the carseats in the back. No wait, especially with the carseats in the back. We listen to country and I revv the engine and beg the kids to let me turn off the A/C and leave the windows open, but my kids, they are not as into it as I am.
