big night for little boys

The Mille Miglia rally went down our street last night. After dinner we went downstairs to watch the first Ferraris zoom by. And later, we fell asleep to the lull of roaring engines as the cars kept coming late into the night.

I bet that the boys will remember this for a long time. Wish I was there!

I bet the big boys enjoyed it, too. I know my nephew (21) would have loved to have been there. He was in Rome for 9 days over spring break and had a wonderful time. His sister lives in Germany (she’s an army nurse at Landstuhl Hospital) and she was able to meet him in Rome for 4 days.
